          Electronic AC Voltage Stabilizers

 

  • The ILSTAT  AC Voltage Stabilizers  maintain the ac voltage at their output within +- 5 % of the nominal output voltage for a variation of -30 +20 % at the input.

  • The principle of their operation is based on switching taps of an autotransformer with the aid of electronic switches.  

  • The switching is done during zero crosses of the ac voltage, thus being transparent to the load.

  • The output is re-adjusted every 10 msec (every half period of the 50 Hz power grid), with criterion the mean value of the input voltage for the previous 100 msec (5 periods of the 50 Hz power grid).

  • No harmonic distortion is produced by the stabilizer.

  • The ILSTAT ac Voltage Stabilizers act also as low pass filters to damp all single mode transients that arrive from the power grid.  

  • They incorporate also common mode low pass filters to eliminate voltage spikes and transients present on the power grid.

  • They incorporate fast acting voltage, current and load monitors, to prevent load stress.
